Clinical Safety Specialist

The Clinical Safety Specialist will work alongside other members of the clinical safety team to manage the adoption of the employer' Clinical Safety Management Framework supporting the development and implementation of the employer' products.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide the clinical safety assurance services across the employer’ products
• Adapt and refine the employer’ Clinical Safety Management Framework and Plan for use
• Act as the escalation point for reported clinical safety issues
• Create Safety Reports as appropriate from issues reported to Customers, Implementation and Support staff
• Perform clinical safety assessments to investigate and assess clinical risk in good faith to support and improve patient safety
• The ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team including regional edition, implementation, and support
• Deliver clinical safety training to internal and external groups.
• Participate in the Clinical Safety Group activities
• Create and maintain Region, Project and clinical safety documentation.
• Provide clinical safety/ risk assessment advice at customer sites

Qualifications

• Clinical qualifications (Doctor, Senior Nurse, Pharmacist or Allied Health Professional)
• Professional registrations
