What We're Looking For

This role performs intermediate-level tasks associated with servicing customer products, including diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining products, while ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform intermediate-level troubleshooting, repairing, and testing of products to restore functionality while ensuring quality standards are met Inspect and diagnose products for defects or issues and implement appropriate repair solutions Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in proper working condition to support efficient repairs Accurately document repair processes, findings, and parts used, keeping records organized and up-to-date Provide updates on repair progress and timelines and ensure customer products are handled with care to maintain satisfaction Mentor less experienced team members by sharing knowledge, guiding them in proper repair techniques, and ensuring adherence to company standards Collaborate with team members to meet repair goals, improve workflows, and create a positive, respectful work environment Contribute to process improvements by identifying opportunities for efficiency, quality enhancement, and standardization of repair procedures Follow safety protocols, report safety concerns or equipment malfunctions promptly, and comply with company policies and regulations Key Skills and Competencies: Attention to Detail: Ensure repairs are accurate and meet high-quality standards Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using tools, equipment, and software to perform repairs and maintain records effectively Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve issues systematically and efficiently Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve workflows and contribute to quality and productivity enhancements Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently Teamwork and Collaboration: Work respectfully and effectively with team members to achieve shared objectives Minimum Education or Equivalent: No diploma required; Basic math and reading/writing skills are needed Minimum Work Experience: 1+ years of relevant work experience Work Environment: 5 days in office Safety Sensitive Role: Yes Travel: No travel required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Yes Must be able to see color: No Physical Activity: Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like : Never Working from heights such as roofs, ladders, or powered lifts: Never Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including awkward or tight and confined spaces: Never Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods of time: Constantly Stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, reaching, pushing, or pulling: Occasionally Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another: Occasionally Adjusting or moving objects up to 40 pounds in all directions: Occasionally Communicating with others to exchange information: Frequently Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, or fingers: Constantly Operating machinery or power tools: Occasionally Operating motor vehicles, industrial vehicles, or heavy equipment: Never Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned: Constantly Environmental Conditions: Exposure to extreme temperatures (high or low): Never Outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind: Never Noisy environments: Occasionally Other hazardous conditions such as vibrations, uneven ground surfaces or dust and fumes: Never Small or enclosed spaces: Never Adverse environmental conditions expected: Never Physical Demands: Medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 3:45PM - 12:15AM Pay: $18.89 per hour, plus $1.00 shift differential Equal Opportunity Employer: Zebra is an equal opportunity employer.

  • Incentive Compensation: In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance-based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 3% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
